• Title: Summer Wind
  • Artist: ℃-ute
  • Runtime: 4:43   Language: Japanese
  • Date: May 8, 2016

"Summer Wind" is part of ℃-ute's newest single release, which also includes "Why Do People Fight?". "Summer Wind" is a somewhat rebellious number. The girls sing about how, as they grow up, people still attempt to control them under the guise of love; but imply that in the end they may be the ones in control. Who the controlling 'people' may be -- parents? Lovers? The nosy public? -- is open to interpretation.

The MV is simple in design, and focuses on ℃-ute's natural beauty and graceful motions rather than on effects or costumes. The primary colors in the video are blues and whites, which combine with occasional images of the beach to evoke the airy feeling of summer.

℃-ute will travel to Hong Kong & Taipei for their concerts later this month and then back to Japan for their Concerts Tour in late June. "Summer Wind" was written and composed by Tsunku, and arranged by AKIRA.
