• Title: GA GA SUMMER
  • Artist: Doberman Infinity
  • Runtime: 4:44   Language: Japanese
  • Date: July 24, 2016

"GA GA SUMMER" is the latest single from Japanese rap and hip-hop group Doberman Infinity. The song and the video are both an unusual mix of Japanese and international. Not only are most of the extras who appear in the MV not Japanese, but a word is censored at the beginning of the song -- something that is much rarer in Japanese music than, for example, in American music. Even the chorus, which often appears across the screen -- "Crazy na baby wa natsu ga suki" -- is an amalgam; with the English word "crazy" turned into a Japanese adjective by making it "crazy na."

"GA GA SUMMER" is about making the most of summer days, enjoying the company of unforgettable companions and making memories. Doberman Infinity will be holding two events to commemorate the release of their "GA GA SUMMER / D.Island feat. m-flo" single. One event is in Osaka on August 12, 2016, and one is in Tokyo on August 18.
