• Title: Sailor Suit and Machine Gun (セーラー服と機関銃)
  • Artist: Kanna Hashimoto
  • Runtime: 5:04   Language: Japanese
  • Date: March 13, 2016

"Sailor Suit and Machine Gun" (Sailor Fuku to Kikanjuu) is Kanna Hashimoto's first solo single, released to coincide with the film "Sailor Suit and Machine Gun: Graduation" (Sailor Fuku to Kikanjuu Sotsugyou) in which she plays the lead role.

The MV features Kanna Hashimoto in a dark sailor uniform as she makes her way through town, absorbed in her own thoughts, interpreted with footage of her filming the movie. Her smiling but melancholic demeanor reflects the lyrics of the song, in which she is parting from someone dear and asking that they keep her in their heart. As she stares out across the city or into the waters of a stream, she appears to be lost in memories.
