• Title: Monogatari wa Kyou Hajimaru no (ものがたりは今日はじまるの)
  • Artist: Kayoko Yoshizawa
  • Runtime: 4:53   Language: Japanese
  • Date: July 17, 2016

"Monogatari wa Kyou Hajimaru no" is Kayoko Yoshizawa's first collaborative work with Sambomaster, and will be released on an album of collaborative works with a variety of artists. The song is about feeling stuck, and wishing for someone to come take you someplace else, and help you to begin a new part of your life story.

At the beginning of the video, a teenage girl tries to bring herself to leave the house and go to school, but instead calls in to say she has not yet gotten over her cold. She makes herself chilled somen noodles (a summer treat) and turns on the television, where she happens to see Kayoko Yoshizawa singing. The music both cheers and emboldens the girl. Later that day she is able to overcome her fears, and she leaps from her doorway to go running out into the world, joyful and free. The girl in the video is played by actress Riho Yoshioka.

The song was arranged by Sambomaster, and was written by Sambomaster's member Takashi Yamaguchi. The "Kayoko Yoshizawa And Beautiful People Tour," which is scheduled for October, features performances in Nagoya, Tokyo, and Kobe.
