- Popular songs: Several of Kisida Kyoudan & The Akebosi Rockets' songs have been used as themes for popular anime television series. The first, in 2010, was the song "Highschool of the Dead," which was used as the opening theme for the "Highschool of the Dead" anime series. In 2013, their song "Strike the Blood" became the first opening theme of the "Strike the Blood" anime series. They have also created two of the opening themes for the anime series Gate: "GATE (Sore wa Akatsuki no You ni)" in 2015, and "GATE II ~Sekai o Koete~" in 2016.
- The word "Akeboshi" in the band's name is written 明星, which can mean either "morning star" or a figurative "star" (as in a well-known person).
