• Title: Breathe (한숨)
  • Artist: Lee Hi
  • Runtime: 4:54   Language: Korean
  • Date: March 13, 2016

Lee Hi of YG Entertainment has come back with a new half album release, Seoulite, and a new music video, Breathe, which highlights the hardships of what we simply call "life." The album was released on March 9, 2016.

Breathe holds a mellow tone and we almost assume that it is a sad song. However, the lyrics talk about how the singer understands the sighs of each person. She understands that everyone has had a hard day as the MV shows with everyday lonely citizens of a bustling city. This definitely sets the mood of loneliness and it connects to the audience of how we are all little fishes in a big pond. We are all struggling to push through a strenuous world that seems to hinder our aspirations and we begin to question what worth is.

In this song, Lee Hi tells us to let that go, that all we have to do is take a moment and breathe, and everything will be fine. The new Seoulite half album was produced by Lee Hi, YG's artists Tablo and DJ Tukutz of K-pop hip-hop group, Epik High. Breathe was specifically composed and written by SHINee's Jonghyun.
