• Title: Dramarama (드라마라마)
  • Artist: MONSTA X
  • Runtime: 4:00   Language: Korean
  • Date: November 19, 2017

MONSTA X takes on a mind-twisting journey with their new release entitled “Dramarama”, the lead track of their fifth mini album “THE CODE”. What’s more, the song with a funk style and the rap of the song was written by members Joo Heon and IM!

The lyrics of the song tells us how the world of MONSTA X seems to revolve around the one they wish to be with. Her stares are enough to render them immobile, enough to freeze their time as if they are trapped in a dream-like trance. They are willing to escape that trance, but only if they’ll wake to her in the end. They have many questions left unanswered, but she’s deaf to their calls. They are confused by the many outcomes that could unfold, but they’re left with not even a single of how their fates may end up.

The music video takes us into the concept of time travel, and the many options and outcomes that it brings in the process. It’s a creative visual supplement to the lyrics of the “Dramarama”, but it’s also a treat on its own. With action-packed scenes that leave us on the edge of our seats, we are treated with bonus snippets of MONSTA X’s dance performance. Enjoy the thrill of MONSTA X’s “Dramarama” MV.
