NCT 127, a sub-unit of NCT has released their debut single and MV called Fire Truck, and it’s just in time for this hot summer. The single comes off of their self-titled EP. One of the newest groups to come out of SM Entertainment, the international line-up has members from Korea, Japan, China and Canada.

The music video opens with the band in a backyard of a little girl and the band hosing down her sand castle with their squirt guns. The boys move into a school classroom and start spraying the students with hoses. Then they appear in the hallway of some grungy club, spraying their hoses at a couple about to kiss. A beautiful office worker finds herself berated by her boss before the boys cool everything down with their hoses (if you watch closely you’ll notice a peculiar looking female). They show up just in time to cool down every hot situation, like a fire truck.

The song is about keeping a hot heat. They say, “Let’s make a fire, I’ll cool down this heat,” is all about getting the party rocking, and these guys are the only ones to come and cool it down. “This place is getting hotter and hotter” and that is when the siren comes blaring. This is definitely a hot track that will be making its rounds on the Korean club scene this summer. For a debut single, it’s a promising track from a band that shows potential for things to come.
