"FLASH" is one track of Perfume's newest album, "Cosmic Explorer." "FLASH" is featured in the 2016 live-action movie "Chihayafuru - Shimo no Ku," which is the second live-action movie based on the "Chihayafuru" manga series.

"Chihayafuru" is the story of a teenage girl named Chihaya who becomes a competitive player of karuta, a traditional Japanese game in which the next card in a sequence must be claimed before one's opponent can take it (sequences can include images, or lines of a poem). In the MV for "FLASH," some of the arms and hands movements in Perfume's dancing mimics the motions of a karuta player. The lyrics of the song poetically describe the excited feelings that come with playing a high-speed game.

In 2016, Perfume will embark on their 6th Tour. From May to July the tour will visit a variety of cities in Japan. After that, the tour will travel America in August and September.
