TWICE has finally made a comeback with their second mini-album, Page Two, with a new music video, CHEER UP. It's lighthearted song with a pinch of spice. It is definitely a song that is fun and enjoyable to listen to.

The music video is eclectic with a mixture of various "movie" themes where each girl is featured in each "movie." It goes well with the fun-filled song that jumps around with the melody. The different movie genres we can see for the MV, to name a few, are an old-time film, action, horror, drama, and so on. Even though we may think it seems random, the song is consistent with the video. For instance, during the bridge, the song slows down and we see one of the girls in this serene road in a schoolgirl uniform, which we could familiarize with Korean dramas.

As for the lyrics, the girls are telling a boy to cheer up despite the fact that they are a hard-to-get girl. They explain that girls that are hard to get may make the boy love them even more and if the boy persist in his attempts, they will fall in love with him even more, too.
